As Nuriş Prefabrik, we were pleased to host Sheikh Abdul Nasiru-Deen, Ambassador of Ghana to Türkiye, and Josephine Dzotsi from the commercial section of the embassy at our facilities in the Başkent Organised Industrial Zone in Ankara.
The visit opened with a presentation covering our manufacturing history, which goes back to 1968, and our current investments. The delegation then toured the production areas. One of the main points shared was that the whole process at our Başkent OSB facilities is handled in house, from structural calculations through production and logistics to assembly on site.
During the tour we presented our prefabricated building systems, container solutions, light steel structures and heavy steel construction. Technical information was shared on our steel profile lines, connection details and assembly times, and we explained with examples how a building type is selected according to its intended use.
The solutions we have developed for educational buildings, healthcare facilities, construction site and accommodation units, industrial warehouses and workshops, and emergency housing were reviewed through completed projects. Alongside our work in Türkiye, the field experience gained in our export markets also formed part of the discussion.
The talks continued with potential areas of cooperation in Ghana and the wider region. Both sides exchanged views on building requirements that call for rapid installation, on transport and assembly planning, on material selection suited to local conditions, and on possible joint project models.
